Spiritualism Igniting the Sacred fire of human Spirit
Spiritualism the most ancient form of spiritual practice, dating all the way back to the first human to walk the Earth. It is an ancient tradition that utilizes the forces of Nature to commune with spirits. It uses a wide variety of tools such as the elements, the trees, the rocks, plant medicines, ceremony, music, dance & celebration to induce an altered state of perception for personal transformation. It uses prayer, ceremony and magick as ways of reaching the divine. By honoring the life force in all things, we open ourselves up to recieving messages, guidance and assistance from all our relations along the spiritual path. Shamanism is very much an Earth-based practice that honors the Earth and all of her inhabitants as Mother and helper. By doing so every action and every word is in service to the planet. We seek to bridge the gap of Mother Earth and Father Sky. There are many aspects of shamanism and a variety of ways to practice. In today's rapidly evolving culture, we are beginning to bring the ancient wisdom of our ancestors, and evolving them into something new and unique. Many people may be practicing shamanism without even realizing it, as many incorporate different shamanic techniques and practices into another form of spiritual practice or religious belief system. Shamanism is extremely diverse and can be very easy to incorporate into your spiritual practice. Ceremony & Ritual
A ceremony is 1 or more people coming together in the same space at the same time performing acts or saying prayers, all with a common intention. A ceremony can be as general or specific as desired, and will always reflect the energy of the group at that time. There are many forms of ceremony; some can be very strict with set guidelines and format, while others can be loose and open to the flow; and they will ALWAYS be exactly what is needed. Ceremony is a way of honoring Spirit, Nature, and whatever other energies you wish to work with. Common ceremonies include fire ceremony, New/Full Moon ceremony, cacao ceremony, manifestation, release, spliff ceremony, etc. all of which will be described below. Rituals are very similar to ceremony, and are often used interchangeably. Rituals are activities or sequences of events that are practiced regularly. They can be daily, weekly, monthly or whenever is in the flow. Anything can become ritual, and we can easily transform routine into ritual. Everyone has morning rituals, things we do before starting our day such as brushing teeth, breathing, yoga, or drinking coffee. It is important to establish morning rituals, that are in alignment for you, to help you move through your day from a centered and ready space. FOR MORE INFO CLICK HERE
Shamanic Journeying
Shamanic Journeying is an ancient technique used by indigenous tribes of all over the world as a means of traveling through realms. By traveling to other dimensions, we open up the world of infinite possibilities. Here we can access deep and hidden levels of the subconscious to discover deeper aspects of the Self. These techniques often use the art of visualization to meet with spirit guides, spirit animal, angels, guardians, ancestors, deities and various other beings not of the physical world. It utilizes the Imagination as a tool to answer questions that may be hidden from the waking mind. The most common way to access this heightened state of consciousness is by using a steady rhythm or beat. Originally, the cavemen used rocks hitting together to create a consistent beat, and this eventually evolved into instruments like the drum and rattle. This now can be as simple as one steady drum beat, or as complex as a full on musical production. By having a rhythm, it occupies the mind, and induces a trance-like state. From this trance, the mind is then opened to go wherever you want. FOR MORE INFO CLICK HERE
Magick & Alchemy
Magick is an art form that directs energy to flow with one's will. Everything is energy, light, vibrations, and this energy is constantly moving, shifting and changing. By consciously (or unconsciously) choosing to interact with this energy, we can affect it in many ways. Magick can be applied in a multitude of ways and has a variety of applications seen throughout time over many different traditions. Magick is not limited to any one religion, belief system, or perspective. It can be whatever you want it to be!! The magician's 3 favorite tools are Intention, Belief and Will. Intention is the WHAT and WHY. By becoming clear om what it is we want and why, we can then align our thoughts, words, deeds and actions. By establishing intention we give the mind and the world around us a direction to move toward. Belief is something is trusting that something is true. It is YOUR TRUTH, and your conviction behind it. Your Belief is your perception of your reality, and by believing something, it is more likely to become manifest. Will is the ability of self-control, and is commonly refered to as willpower, because it is the driving force that causes us to take action and make something happen. Where there is a will there is a way, because if you want something enough, you shall find a way to make it so. Intention is the Direction in which we go,Belief is the Path in which we travel, Will is the Force that moves us along it. Mastery of these 3 things and the magician can create anything he/she can imagine!! FOR MORE INFO CLICK HERE
Medicine Wheel
The Medicine Wheel is a powerful tool for transformation used by many indigenous cultures throughout history. It depicts the cycles of growth as a wheel, or circle, that moves throughout one's life. The spiritual journey happens in phases, and each phase can be seen multiple times throughout one's journey. Many New Age, magickal, and spiritual practices these days are incorporating some form of the Medicine Wheel, and the concept of calling in the directions is used worldwide in ceremony and shamanism. There are many aspects to the Medicine Wheel, and for now I will only focus on the 7 directions. FOR MORE INFO CLICK HERE
